Meet Hannah

Professional grooming, one calm dog at a time.

I'm Hannah — an award-winning groomer with a business degree and more than five years caring for every coat type Wisconsin sends through the door. Forward Grooming is the salon I always wanted to build: a calm, attentive space where every visit is paced for the dog in front of me, never the clock.

"Your dog should leave looking better and feeling calmer than when they came in. That's the entire job."

The honest answers

Pet parent questions, answered.

How is Forward Grooming different from a corporate salon?

You get one groomer, Hannah, start to finish. Your dog isn't kenneled between bath and cut, isn't dried in a kennel dryer, and isn't competing with five other dogs for attention. Visits run a little longer; the result is a dog who isn't fried at pickup.

My dog is anxious, reactive, or a senior. Can you still help?

Yes. This is exactly the kind of dog Forward Grooming was built for. Tell us before booking and we'll plan a quieter slot, build in breaks, and skip anything that's a hard "no" for your dog. Force-free handling is the default.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Coat type drives this more than anything. Doodles and Poodles do best every 4 to 6 weeks. Goldens and Aussies are usually 8 to 10 weeks. Short-coated breeds can stretch to 8 to 12 weeks for a bath. We'll write you a personalized schedule at your first visit.

What if my dog is matted?

We never "dematt to the point of pain." If matting is severe, the humane choice is a shorter cut and starting fresh. We'll talk it through honestly at drop-off, and walk you through a brushing routine so it doesn't happen again.

Do you offer pickup, drop-off, or mobile grooming?

Forward Grooming is a salon-based studio in downtown Lodi. We don't currently offer mobile service, but the studio is calm, quiet, and easy to drop in and out of.

How do I book an appointment?

Use the online booking page for the fastest path. New clients fill out a short pet profile so Hannah arrives at your appointment already knowing your dog. Prefer email? forwardgrooming@gmail.com.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit, and contactless are all good. Tips are appreciated but never expected.
